Sleep Medicine MSc/PGDip Funding
Sleep Medicine Bursaries
- Everyone who applies by the March deadline for the 2-year MSc/PGDip in Sleep Medicine will be considered for a non-repayable Sleep Medicine bursary worth up to one-quarter of the yearly fee.
- Sleep Medicine bursaries will support students who are identified as being from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds through a considered background check during application.
- In order to be banded correctly, please ensure that you answer all the questions in the section entitled 'Socio-economic background' under the 'About You' tab on the application form.
- Further evidence and an interview may be requested.
- A maximum of one Sleep Medicine bursary for home students and one for overseas students will be available.
- Applications for consideration must be submitted by the March admissions deadline.
NIHR Scholarships (see specific eligibility criteria below)
- Eligible applicants must be UK-based frontline mental health and care workers who wish to gain relevant research expertise and who apply for the MSc programme.
- This scholarship covers the tuition fees. Funding may also be available to backfill employment costs, if applicable.
- The scholarship application deadline is 26 March 2026. We advise candidates applying for the scholarship to submit their Sleep Medicine MSc applications by the March deadline (3 March, 2026, 12 pm UK time).

PAYMENT OPTIONS
- Payments for the MSc / PGDip are made annually, at the start of each academic year
- Termly course fee payments can be arranged upon request with the Somerville College Treasury (MSc) or Sleep Medicine Department (PGDip)
