In this two-day face-to-face masterclass, Dr Rachel Sharman and Dr Lizzie Hill will guide you through the practicalities of measuring sleep and wake for clinical and research purposes, using common techniques including polysomnography and actigraphy.

This course is aimed at healthcare professionals and clinical researchers of all levels with an interest in gaining practical skills in sleep measurement.

You are reminded that this course does not confer a licence to practice, nor provide a formal qualification endorsed by the University of Oxford. It is your responsibility to ensure you practice within the boundaries of your existing professional certification/registration and competencies.

We are delighted to offer 6 Training Scholarships of £250 (half course fee) for the December 2024 Sleep Measurement Masterclass supported by NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre - Better Sleep Theme. Application is open to those who are working in the NHS in a sleep, neurology, and/or respiratory physiology setting and who fit the NIHR criteria of NMAHPs. All applications fitting the requirements above will be considered; however, priority consideration will be given to those at an early career stage.
