I joined Oxford in 2019 as part of the Doctoral Training Centre Interdisciplinary Bioscience programme. I Joined the Vyazovskiy group for my DPhil and work under the supervision of Vladyslav Vyazovskiy (DPAG), David Bannerman (Experimental Psychology), and Trevor Sharp (Pharmacology). I am investigating the changes psychedelics induce on vigilance state. Psychedelics are known to produce measurable changes in the brain signals, especially during Sleep. I am using electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings, behavioural tasks, and video recordings.
I graduated from a BSc in Life Sciences from Sorbonne Université (Campus Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris) in 2016, and completed a MSc in Integrative Biology and Physiology from the same university in 2018. I joined the Vyazovskiy group as part of my MSc where I explored the variation of firing rate during REM sleep.
My project is funded by the BBSCR and have been awarded the 2020 in vivo skills award.
